in thread Missing Nodes

But I've posted to far fewer than 56 threads, and there is no way I'm going to read ALL that information. Your post reminds me of Geocities' automatic response when you send them a spam report. They tell you to read the TOS.

I recognized the link to my posts that was in my home node when I was reminded to check there, but I'm not sure I would have noticed the post I was looking for, since I got the titles mixed up. Searching for a phrase in my post should have worked. Hmmm... now I'm wondering if I even did that correctly.

I continuously insult people???

There are more than 2500 people beyond level 2 in PerlMonks.

Either they are all unusually bright and smart or you have an understanding problem. Which one is more likely to be?

If so many people are comfortable with the system and you don't, whose side is the problem?

there is no way I'm going to read ALL that information.

It takes less than 60 minutes to read all of them. It would have taught you something and spare you the humiliation of showing your ignorance in publc. Not only that, but your willingness to stay such.

And I guess that writing your inflamatory posts must have kept you busy longer than that.

    Get smart.

But I've posted to far fewer than 56 threads,

So? I said nodes. Go to your homenode and you'll see something like

    ...
    Experience: 97
    Level: acolyte (3)
    Writeups: 57
    ...

I've gone months between visits here. I usually come here for help, look arond for a few minutes for others who I might be able to help, then I'm gone. They say not to use Perl if you're not going to use it every week because You'll forget too much. When you don't use a nonstandard message board for months, you forget stuff too.

Maybe I have an understanding problem, but I'm not going to take a one hour refresher course every few months just to use a message board.

My posts have kept me busy longer than 60 minutes, but they and some of my responces have taught people something and they have taught me more about the people who visit Perl Monks.
