I've been programming professionally for over 20 years now in a variety of languages. Although Perl and C++ are my current favorites, I've also worked in C, Forth, Java, Lisp, and miscellaneous Web-based languages.
I've been working in Perl for about 15 years and it's definitely my language of choice if not forbidden on a project.
