First of all thanks Cine for the nice tutorial.
Second of all, if anyone looks for further information, Nathan Torkington had a nice article on The Perl Journal a few years back titled "What is Truth", which deals with "truth" as Perl's Bitwise and Boolean operators see it. The article was printed on issue 14 (1999) and can be viewed online here (Free, of course (-: ).
