Just a minor point but as a newbie (with pod) what is the purpose of using pod style formatting and not just # comments ? .. I know there is one, but in the context of the article it doesn't mention anywhere how to actually produce readable documentation from it. Thanks for any pointers.

    use perldoc, pod2html, pod2man, pod2text, pod2 ... all available from cpan

    update: Here is what I acutally have installed ;)(well, installed in my perl -V:bin )
