in reply to Perl Haiku Poetry Contest

PLEASE READ THE RULES:

CONTEST PARTICIPANTS: The ActiveState Perl Haiku Contest (the “Contest”) is open to all individuals who are: (i) 18 years or older; and (ii) physically located in the United States or Canada(a “Qualified Individual”), except employees of ActiveState and their affiliates, their agents, and persons with whom they are domiciled.

A lot of us are not allowed to enter... :-(

UPDATE: The competition has also been discussed on use Perl; were a few people commented about these rules in a humours manner. Anyhow somehow the rules have since changed, and anyone from where ever they are can enter (employess etc still can not).

[ozboomer]: Howdy, all.. Trying this once more... Not really a perl question :(... but I don't know how to even title my query (more...)
[ozboomer]: There's a text file with lots of sections in it, like an '.ini/.conf' file. Each section can be 'used' or 'unused' by its application (more...)
[ozboomer]: Some folk want to use the text file as 'storage', keeping ALL items in it (a database); others call it an 'active document' that should only contain 'in-use' sections. Is there a 'good practice' for this sort of thing?
