OK, spending money via the web is some kind of trouble. Especially when you're in a different country. Thus I'd not only encourage VSarkiss's idea but go even further: The maintainers of The Monastery might consider signing up for several pay services and maybe there will be a solution for everyone to give what s/he feels to give in a long list of alternatives linked from the Offering Plate. I know that it is possible to pay from Germany via PayPal but as has been said some people have a strong feeling about that service.
So having several alternatives would help.

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
