I was writing a perl wrapper to the ncbi's blastclust program, and one input printed the folowing error message:
Error: this can't happen!
113 times, then kindly core dumped.
So go on, whats the best error message you've ever seen, or been guilty of writing?

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
