As one who has worked for IBM, yes, you can call, but I doubt they'll fix your problem in the next 3 releases ... or even listen to you if you are too small.
Open source developers will. But again, this is a marketing/business issue, with little technical backing ... what can you do. The business types keep their jobs when they spend money. Open source is "too easy" and makes them somewhat obsolete!

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
