Sincerest apologies to all, and thank you ed for the constructive response. I'm new to the monks site.
I do care about it. I'm in the process of writing it, haven't compiled it yet and the thought came to me, there must be a way to compress this down such that I don't need to cut/paste/tweak the same 6 lines. I just tossed it out there as an afterthought as I continute to grind this out.
I had hoped my breif explanation at the top of the message was sufficient to explain what I was trying to do.

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
