( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
So many others out there, like myself, are under a draconian dress code at school/work. We strive to find new ways to show off our hacker prowess without violatng the dresscode too blatantly. What I request to aid the oppressed monks is a polo shirt (golf shirt). It would be preferbably white or that Vanhusen soft gray(don't bother searching the web for that) with a small (less than 2sq inch) slogan on the left breast. Some sample slogans could include:
  • Perlmonks.cult
  • Perlmonks.org
  • Wall = = master
  • $code++;
  • Perlmonks.cult
  • use strict;
  • purl rewlz
  • perl -wT
  • package main;
  • How do I use this?
  • php is lame

Mabye perlmonks.org could be embroidered on the back of the collar, right behind your neck. That would be schueeet.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong>   <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
