This is the idiom or recipe
my @Columns = qw/ ro sham bo /;
my $sql = sprintf "insert into (%s) values (%s) on duplicate key updat
+e ",
join( ',', map { $dbh->quote_identifier($_) } @Columns ),
join( ',', ( '?' ) x @Columns );
my $sth = $dbh->prepare($sql);
while ( my $row = $csv_in->getline( $infh ) ) {
$sth->execute( @{ $row } );
}
Where $csv_in is a Text::CSV object and $infh is a filehandle of your csv file
You could also read the file using using DBD::AnyData or DBD::CSV

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
