You said NOTHING.

I came asking for wisdom, but not any old wisdom that works for you regarding programming style. I asked for something specific. If you want to throw in a bonus answer, have something to back it up relating to the code I posted. If you can't determine that my script is broken, and if you don't know of a better way to accomplish what I want to accomplish, and if it looks like my script will be useful, then there is nothing for you to do except to answer my specific question and thank me for building a debugging and logging tool that every single Perl programmer would have a use for.

Son, I'm only gonna say this once, so listen up.

In Do not feed the trolls..., halley cites statements attributed to you that make it clear that you are trolling.

It's not fun. It's not funny. I'm not wasting any more votes on your sad, pathetic, trolls.

You made an absurd assertion about your self. I responded to that -- I even quoted it to make sure it was clear what I was speaking to. If you really meant what you said, then you are hopeless. That claim means that you are at the stage where you don't know what you don't know, and you aren't even aware that you don't know what you don't know.

You came here "asking advice". Well, you've gotten a ton of it, and you've thrown it all back in our faces, demanding that we answer only the question you want us to answer. It doesn't work that way.

I'm not going to help you any further in your quest to have the lowest reputation you can get.

herveus stands up, folds his arms, and turns his back to Wassercrats.

    yours,
    Michael
