PHP5 fixes a lot of issues, including namespaces. In fact, my personal checklist of things that annoy me about PHP compared to Perl are pretty much taken care of in PHP5. Now I just have annoyances that I can't quite articulate.

    Well that's good to hear (at least from a nonbiased standpoint ; ). I will admit that after first comparing Perl and PHP, I've never really given PHP a fair shot again.
