There's this, which is useful in breaking up a certain type of fixed-length-record file (record size: 13612) into a file with line feeds at appropriate places:<p>
<code>perl -ple 'BEGIN {$/=\13612;}' pstann.new > pstann.new.linefeed</code><p>
We can't just use the unix "pr" utility because that tends to break on upper-128 characters.
