Perl and Video Capture

Is there a way to automatically detect and capture video from a device such as a webcam? Thankyou for any help. Regards

    Hi,

    If you are running linux you may find Video::Capture::V4l interesting.

    "Perl interface to the Video4linux framegrabber interface. Features include video frame grabbing, indexing and realtime compression"
