Item Description: Lightweight, yet powerful, date manipulation.

Review Synopsis:

Date::Simple - This module has become my first choice when needing to work with dates. It is what it is named. A simple, intuitive interface to date manipulation.

Here's a list of its handy features:

  • Date validation
  • Interval arithmetic
  • Day-of-week calculation
  • Transparent date formatting
  • OO interface with a lot of very useful methods

Rather than a review, this is an assessment with a stub for a proper review. It was valuable, since it led me to click on the link to see the docs, but not as useful as it could be, if you fleshed out the bullets.
That is a good point and I will definitely expand it so it will be more usefull. Thanks for the feedback!!
