Since TPF doesn't have "members", it can't exactly have "elections". Who gets to vote? The entire population of the planet?

And actually, I think what you'll probably find is that the people doing the jobs are the people who are actually crazy enough to give up their time and take on the volunteer work.

If you want to change that, step up to the plate, and volunteer yourself. You'll probably get nearly any position you name, unless you're really not qualified.
