in reply to Donate to The Perl Fund

I actually donated last year after a number of questions I asked were answered quickly and completely and the problems were for my job. I was promised a receipt, but I never got one. I emailed them and they said they would send the receipt out at the end of the year, but it never came. So although PerlMonks.org is very helpful and I use and enjoy the site very much, I'm not sure I would donate again.

[stevieb]: A couple of years ago I went to Curacao on a business trip which is a few parallels south of Canary Islands, but one thing I liked was it was 90 degrees at all times consistently. Much different experience than living in Canada :)
