    Konnichi ha

I was quite sure that should've been "wa"... am I that wrong? :-)

Konnichi ha means "Good day" whereas Konnichi wa means "Good Afternoon", so on a forum like this where people could see the message at anytime of the day the former would be more appropiate.

Update: also the last character in Konnichi "wa" (こんにちは) is は which is actually the hiragana character for ha. :)

    And "kutsu" means shoe(s). . .

    Merlyn, even without the interpreters:
Japanese are generally taught English writing in school, not pronunciation. You can likely get a written point across even though the spoken word will give them trouble.

yes, but my name is 苦 痛. As I've already stated elsewhere :).

We're planning to have an interpreter for every popular session (for 200 people), and even on the 2nd day we'll have English only hours on a smaller room (80+ people).
Er, that was me. Not sure why I was recognized as Anonymous.

[marto]: I'm sure this comes as a surprise to no one
[LanX]: ?
[marto]: poorly thought out non products, sold to parents as "fun" things for kids to have, while providing "security" features (track your kid over the interwebs)
[LanX]: oh didn't see the link, poor contrast
[marto]: "Through a few simple steps, a stranger can take control of the watch and track, eavesdrop on and communicate with the child. They will be able to track the child as it moves or make it look like the child is somewhere it is not..." and so on
[LanX]: so Strangers can easily seize control of the children
