Oh look. I've stolen someone else nice simple idea, kludged together an ill conceived, over-complicated and hastily thrown together parady of it and uploaded it to cpan without consulting anyone.

    Oh, look. I've demonstrated how a module for file position markers that has been on CPAN for 5 months can be extended with a few minutes work to save/load positions to an external file.

    Oh, look. I've demonstrated how inside-out objects can be a useful alternative to tie for working with filehandles. (One of the few situations in which they really shine.)

    "Overcomplicated" I'll grant, and I will be discussing that at my YAPC::NA talk.
