How to use a link as a label in HTML::Widget?

water has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

HTML::Widget html-escapes the field label.

For example, the following code doesn't produce a link to Yahoo, but rather explicit visible GT and LT tags:

$e->label("<a href=\"http://www.yahoo.com\">$col</a>");
How can one turn this behavior off, so as to get field names which are indeed links?

Thanks!

    I'm not a specialist of HTML::Widget, but perhaps you could try to put the label inside the link, rather than putting the link inside the label?

    There is a HTML::Widget mailinglist. If you cannot find the answer in our Monastery, you can try there.
