I agree with Trinary - you are fast enough when you can code fast enough to keep up with the evolution of your mental model.
But honestly, writing code fast is not a big thing. It is much more difficult to decide on what to write.
Also, often you will find that *not* writing, but first *thinking* will help much, much more.
The proof of intellect is to avoid doing simply the next best.
