Time certainly flies. It'll be six for me come April. Can't believe it's been that long.

Over the years, Perlmonks is one of the few destinations for me that have stayed useful and relevant. While I haven't been nearly as active as I was in the first couple of years (the demands of life), never stayed away very long.

Oddly enough, I vaguely remember when you were a new guy ;)

Heh -- I do remember getting shelled by all and sundry early on when I started to talk about XOR encyption.

But all in all, it's been a great ride so far.

[stevieb]: yeah, so the wiringPi library appears to be missing/injecting incorrect defined variables into I2C calls, and it's all over the map. I'm going to have to revisit and use something else, write something else, or scrutinize the code and fix
