Server push as in WSUS? You need more detail as this question is not looking Perl related.

    Well, my perl script is pushing some data to the browser every 10 seconds and Firefox seems to accept the data ok and then displays it but Iexplorer 6 just displays the header information on the browser.
      Hmmm. Ok then. The next step would be to post some code. Don't forget to use the code tags.
