I have earned a reputation through the effort I've put in. Therefore, people are willing to vouch for me. Some of them have become friends through collaboration over the years. This is no different than knowing someone from school or church or the local pub.

- Does it work?
- Can someone else come in, make a change, and be reasonably certain no bugs were introduced?
