Now completely baffled
Size Issue? I have over 7,000 local '.ppd' files
I know it works with nearly 7,000 from a remote web site with the package files but could there be an issue with reading the files where there is no index?
I have got the command line working:
ppm> rep sync --force --max-ppd 8000 2
Downloading LocalD packlist...done
ppm> s ldap
*** no packages matching 'ldap' found ***
ppm> rep

The active repository with 0 packages in is the same one I used with the earlier version of ppm (as in 817) which could find all the packages.
I now just don't know what is going on; it is probably something simple as your works.
