I started using perl at work several years ago. I still consider myself a novice, but I do love the language. I retired from an Sysadmin job about 3 years ago and continue to use perl for a number of at home projects - stuff like solving jumbles, getting help solving cryptograms and whatever else cries out for a perl solution. I play music with a trio called Happenstance out of Conway Arkansas. Our style is what is most often called Americana I guess. We play festivals, coffee houses and private parties as well as house concerts. (happenstance-music.com if you really want to know more... ;-) I can't really call myself a web developer, but the above website was designed and implemented by yours truly. I have had no desire to pursue flash or anything fancy, but I did learn enough "asp" to get me by. I also play a little golf (5 or 6 times a year maybe) I'm busier now than when I worked for a living - and I sure am having fun!!!
