What are you having trouble with? Can you show what you tried? Did you read the basic information that google supplies?
FWIW, it looks to me like Google requires TLS encryption and I don't see any sign that Mail::SendEasy supports that.

I'd start by looking for something that supplies that functionailty at all.
Only you can decide what's "too many dependencies" :)
Do you need to send both plain and html versions of the message? If so, you might
need a separate MIME module in addition to whatever sends the message.
Untried by me, I see Mail::Webmail::Gmail. I don't think Mail::Sender does TLS. You might have best luck installing
ssmtp, configured to use gmail (see http://www.destr0yr.com/article.php/Gmail_and_sSMTP).
