I've been using Perl since 1998, mostly for sysadmin tasks but it soon became my favourite programming language. A few years ago I also spent quite time with CPAN Testers, and I'm still ranking in Top Testers of All Time. Eventually I joined Barcelona Perl Mongers, where I got the chance to help with the venue so we've been able to invite a few Perl Monks:
