in thread How to install DBD::ODBC Fedora 8

same results with LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib
similar results using -o option --- additionally Makefile.PL lists drivers it knows
odbcinit in default location
DBI installed and in use for some time
. . .
Overriding ODBC Directory with command line option: /usr/lib
Using ODBC in /usr/lib

Hmm...I cannot find an ODBC driver manager that I recognize.
...And I know about these drivers:
Microsoft ODBC, adabas, easysoft, empress, esodbc, informix,
intersolve, iodbc, sapdb, solid, udbc, unixodbc
root@scan DBD-ODBC-1.15# ls /usr/bin/odbc*
/usr/bin/odbc_config /usr/bin/odbcinst
root@scan DBD-ODBC-1.15# perl -e 'use DBI;'
root@scan DBD-ODBC-1.15#
