Hi Spidy,
I had similar feeling recently. I ended up buying a load more perl books and joining some local perl groups. I soon found plenty of stuff I didn't know and could learn to improve my skills. I recommend checking out Perl Mongers, reading Intermediate Perl and Mastering Perl, and looking at contributing to CPAN.

There is of course going back to C and doing some XS perl.
