But the kind of Pop-Tart must be carefully chosen:

  • Flavor?
  • Frosted or un-?
  • Are ur-Pop-Tarts allowed, those things which are Pop-Tarts in all but name, e.g. the ones that had cross-shaped holes in the crust?

I think part of the reason for my giving up pop-tarts is that I had such a hard time finding unfrosted cherry, that I finally gave up -- I had no problems finding frosted cherry, or unfrosted in most other flavors, but it seemed that unfrosted cherry only showed up periodically

And as for the other brands -- there were some other brands that I liked better than pop-tarts when toasted, but they didn't compare as well untoasted, and I never knew how much I'd be rushing out the door, and I found I needed a minute or two cool-down before grabbing ... I was putting them in the toaster right before I got my morning shower, but there was an unfortunate leakage / fire incident that stopped me from doing that.

Oh, brown sugar cinnamon, frosted, toasted, with a little butter, eaten with a nice mug of honey porter. Mmmm.....
