PerlMonks At YAPC::NA

All,
I realize this post isn't about PerlMonks the website, but it is about PerlMonks the people.

Are you going to YAPC::NA 2008? If so, are you interested in getting together?

The Birds Of A Feather wiki page doesn't have a PerlMonks entry yet. I have asked on the YAPC mailing list and have only received one response. I have talked to another monk in private about getting together.

If you are interested in meeting as a group, please reply here with preferred date/time. I will update the wiki if there seems to be any interest at all (which right now there appears not to be - what a shame).

Cheers - L~R

    I'll be there (Mon–Wed), and I'm interested in a BOF. I haven't worked out what I'm going to when, but I'd definitely try to make it to whatever happens. I haven't been to a YAPC before, and I'm pretty excited about it.

    Why not just add one then? If it has a time/place people will likely show up even if they didn't sign up (at least this has been my experience in the past).

    Added: PerlMonks BOF

    Go there and add yourself if you are interested in attending.

    Feel free to use this thread to suggest when and where to hold it.

    OT: I agree that this isn't about the web site. It being directed at members of the site doesn't qualify it for PMD, IMO (all nodes are directed at members of the site). It being about an upcoming event also makes it a reasonable fit for Perl News, which is where I would have put it. But I'll leave it here just so I can front-page it. :)
