I have too much respect for you Aristotle to keep this up. Looking back on it, I should have just upvoted the original node, and kept my mouth shut. Time is the only valid judge of a site's worth..... perlmonks has passed that test, and in a few years we can look back and see how StackOverflow is faring.

[hippo]: For a self-contained application which can therefore ensure thread safety it seems like a sensible approach.
