Notes on votes:

  • I ++ on content and -- on tone, not the other way around. Exceptions are: some funny posts (++), posts with lots of votes but wrong (--)
  • I avoid giving away my votes to Anonymous Monk
  • All the rules above were broken for the various nodes about PM password hacking event
  • I keep getting surprised by what nodes get the most votes
  • I rarely spend all my votes on any particular day, and I only have 16
  • The first vote on my first node was a downvote (by ELISHEVA I think, but can't be sure)
  • If I had to guess I'd say up to a third of my votes go to ikegami who, despite showing what I'd call minimal courtesy sometimes, keeps providing great content
  • Most of my downvotes go to BrowserUK for reasons that should be obvious to most regular tempered people

I am very much interested in any topics related to Perl performance and memory usage. To that end I am starting a list of interesting nodes below as I see them or find them.
