What is the smallest Gadget that can run perl?

PetaMem has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Looking for $SUBJ. To make the question more precise: What is the currently smallest gadget that can run a fully fledged perl environment with no fuzz?

The "currently" means, this thread could remain updated as new devices appear
The "no fuzz" means, I'd like to be able to install Perl and CPAN modules with no hassle. Trying to do so on some new Windows Mobile Devices definitely is no "no hassle" and I've given up on that.
"Fully fledged" so probably means, the device should run Linux, also as this is our development and target platform, this would come in handy.

Ideally the thing should have a keyboard (can be miniature - whatever) and a battery runtime of at least 5h when editing and testing perl apps.

I have Perl 5.10 installed on a palm-top computer -- an OQO M2, size: 5.6"(W) x 3.3"(H) x 1.0"(D). The thumb-keyboard makes for a few more typos than usual, so I don't do intensive development on oqo-oso, but as a portable machine to run applications in the field, it works right well. ---- I Go Back to Sleep, Now. Well, whatever it is, it has to have an operating system, but that is easy now. I would suspect they already have cpu's that fit in a USB memory key. With such a tiny device, you could run Perl to say...constantly check email addresses, incoming call phone numbers, etc.......oh wait, they have such devices....cell phones/txt_messagers. Everyone will eventually carry around their computer system(s), on little USB style solid state memory devices. ...( I wonder what great new gadgets the James_Bonds of the world have now?? ... It sounds like a Nokia N810 might fit your needs. I have the slightly older N800 which has no keyboard but works fine with an external folding bluetooth keyboard. Both run Linux (Debian) on identical internals (wifi built-in, SD cards up to 8-16GB work, has USB too, and a very crisp screen) and there is a lively community around the platform too - check out http://maemo.org/. -- I'd like to be able to assign to an luser	[reply]

What is the currently smallest gadget that can run a fully fledged perl environment with no fuzz? I'd probably first look at devices running Symbian. "Fully fledged" so probably means, the device should run Linux, also as this is our development and target platform, this would come in handy. Oh, restricting yourself to just one OS.
