JavaFan will hopefully go away and take his archaic cpan with him.
Unfortunately for perl and JavaFan there are a lot of people that want more than a mirrored ftp site with an inept web interface. We care about our online collaboration abilities and our distribution tools, and realize that people who view them as separate layers are probably living in the 1990s. Please let this discussion continue unabated by the above inane response.

PS who are you jerks to tell anyone to write code. If he wants to shoot out an idea (I want my cpan to do this) or a complaint (I don't want to use cpan because of this..) Feel free. And to the thread starter check out 764247
