Using MIME::Lite with TLS

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi Monks, I am running my mail program on windows vista. All the packages are up-tp-date.
However, recently, the admin changed the mail settings for TLS support. This program worked fine for me before the settings changed.
I can't figure out how i need to change my program in order for this to work now.
The following is my mail program.
use MIME::Lite; package Net::SMTP::TLS; use MIME::Base64; use Authen::SASL; use Net::SSL; my $from_address = ''; my $to_address = ''; my $mail_host = ''; my $subject = ''; my $message_body = ""; my $my_file_zip = ''; my $your_file_zip = ''; my $msg = MIME::Lite->new ( From => $from_address, To => $to_address, Subject => $subject, Type =>'multipart/mixed' ) or die "Error creating multipart container: $!\n"; ### Add the text message part $msg->attach ( Type => 'TEXT', Data => $message_body ) or die "Error adding the text message part: $!\n"; $msg->attach ( Type => 'application/vnd.ms-excel', Path => $my_file_zip, Filename => $your_file_zip, Disposition => 'attachment' ) or die "Error adding : $!\n"; ### Send the Message MIME::Lite->send('smtp',$mail_host,HELLO=>$mail_host,PORT=>'25', AuthUser=>'', AuthPass=>'', Timeout=>60,Debug=>1); $msg->send;
The above code I obtained via google search :-)
I understand that MIME::Lite->send calls smtp->send but how do i modify this for TLS?

      ^^Thank You!

      I had gone through that as well, but i got lost mid-way through that :-).

      Isn't there an easier way to do this?
