Born and raised in Lexington KY. Dad worked for IBM which actually means "I've Been Moved". Went to Florida to put a man on the moon and when they did they sent us to Vermont. First question was "what state is that in?". Turns out to be a state but not much of one! Told a recruiter he could send me to Viet Nam if he got me out of Vermont but did not think he would actually do it! After 6 months of what my aussie friend called the "little disagreement in SE Asia" as a USAF K-9 handler came back and ended up as a base cop. Did not make a good cop so transfered to the USN as a submarine Data systems Tech. Retired in 1993 with a MS in CS and began trying to make it in the "real world". Having limited success!
