in reply to Status of Recent User Information Leak

I am not amongst those most likely to be affected however I thought I better change my password anyway. I notice that the password has a maximum length of 8 which is annoying. Also I have tried to log onto the PAUSE website but I get a message:
pause.perl.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not trusted.

(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

This is silly, because it's quite easy to get a valid certificate for free or very cheap.
