NateTut has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Has anyone created an addin for M$ Outlook in perl? I would sure like to avoid VB or C#. Sample code or a CPAN module would be much appreciated.

You could try looking at the Win32::OLE module. You will still need to know how to use the OLE interface exposed by Outlook, which can be found in its help documentation.

The documentation for Win32::OLE is fairly solid and has some nice examples involving Excel.

    Hope this helps.
