in reply to mod_perl application profiling - Problem

What version of NYTProf are you using? What perl version? Did you check the size of /home/amit/nytprof.out.3851, was the file emtpy or did it contain data? Did you check apaches error logs?

This problem seems to occur when the script or NYTProf doesn't exit cleanly. See http://code.google.com/p/perl-devel-nytprof/issues/detail?id=20 for a similar problem (seems the solution would be to update to the newest version). See http://old.nabble.com/15s-latency-with-fastcgi%2BApache2%2Bcatalyst-5.8-td23620259.html for possible remedies

If nothing helps you could also ask the developers themselves on the mailing list http://groups.google.com/group/develnytprof-dev
