A classic fallacy!
You win the internets! Or something. Frankly, I'm happy that the (blah blah) is not fungible -- I'm glad that regular Perl 5 contributors can't or don't cash in their contributions for bloghorrhea credits.
Feel free to download bleadperl from git and delete every commit to which I've contributed, for example. Good luck building it and getting it to pass tests.
A classic fallacy! "The build breaks if you remove my commits" does not equal "I made a real contribution."
Perhaps you'd have a better chance of getting what you want if you practiced something a little bit closer to humility and gratitude. Certainly I'd take you a lot more seriously.
Since I already consider you a joke, I don't see why I should suck up to you. Humility? I'm just another Perl-using schlub, with no books to sell, columns to promote, or reputation to polish. I am less than a worm. Gratitude? The "actual contributors" I listed deserve my thanks; you, not so much.
