in thread How to calculate development time?

not having telnet access can be a pain when using perl scripts -- the php mod loaded into apache is faster, and php is like a cross between perl and c. I'd recommend using that for what you are trying to do. telnet access is the killer. WP

Just of curiosity, what in the hell does telnet have to do with in terms of using php instead of perl? Do you have any clue what you're talking about?
And what stupid ISP would allow telnet access??? If it where a ssh connection OK!

      My opinions may have changed,
but not the fact that I am right
