Actually, they had a couple technologies in there, including Perl and PHP and Apache as well as some *Nix utilities. Honestly, based on some things I'd heard, I was gratified that they at least seemed to get the tech right. In fact, I heard a rumor, which was passed on from an NPR review, that when they sent the script for the movie over to Facebook, they *only* commented on the tech and helped them get that part right.

Since the movie is based on a book with which none of the principals cooperated or contributed, there is some question as to the accuracy. Most of what is expressed as factual was apparently pulled from the public records of various lawsuits. There's no telling what really went on that was off the record.
But, all that aside, it was a fairly good story and I enjoyed the movie.
And, yes, I enjoyed seeing the Perl reference most of all!
