I think it deserves a proper announcement. Modern perl book is available, in dead tree and electronic form.

    It's also worth mentioning that it's is available as a free download, currently in PDF (Letter and A4 versions) with ePub on the way. No mention of mobi, but there are tools to covert from PDF or ePub to mobi for Kindle users.
