in reply to poll ideas quest 2011

On April Fools' Day, I'll...

  • be dressed in motley
  • be playing The Fool
  • still be a The Fool
  • be trying to fool you
  • be perpetrating a Perl-ish prank (nominations invited)
  • be executing a non-programming prank
  • be wondering whether it's Iron Pyrites
  • be practicing to avoid Fool's Mate
  • be still together with my money (little though it is)
  • be trying to amuse you
  • be wondering why yyyy/4/1 is associated with foolishness
  • Still be writing scripts without use strict; and use warnings;

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

    Be watching / listening to / singing Pagliacci or Rigoletto (both about fools).

[1nickt]: That's why I asked if you are using DateTime. It has a large number of supporting modules (the author likes the term 'eco-system') so if you are already creating a DateTime obj from your dates, this module would read in the mnoron-formatted 1s seamlessly
[TCLion]: when I put the date together it looks like : 2017-Feb-24 (month is the problem)
[1nickt]: good luck, then.
[TCLion]: looking at DateTime documentation in monastery now
