    Note that we've previously discussed leaving the system perl alone in your previous post.

      Thanks for the information.Actually we are migrating perl from 5.8.0 to 5.8.4 (solaris 8 to solaris 10).we havent done any perl instllation on solaris box. perl is there by default. When we are trying to migrate the perl from 5.8.0 to 5.8.4 we are facing the issues.

        We discussed this in your previous thread. This thread titled 'perl migration' relates to a module not being installed. You've been advised in your previous post to leave the system perl alone and install whatever (in this case old) version of Perl you want elsewhere.
