Please don't ignore the formatting advice when posting. See How do I post a question effectively?. DBD::Oracle 1.17 is from 2006, is there a reason you want to use this old version rather than the latest release? If you look at the results from `make test` you'll see it's trying to connect to Oracle using demo user (scott/tiger), If you google search this you'll find this information. To "fix it" you should read and understand the oracle link above, the DBD::Oracle README and README.login.	[reply] [d/l]

marto's right. You probably want the latest version of DBD::Oracle. There have been quite a few bug fixes made since 1.17. The DBD::Oracle README file explains how to test without using scott/tiger.	[reply]
