You might also try Cache::Memcached::Fast.

fwiw, while I tried Cache::Memcached::Fast, and got good results, I was advised by folks on the memcached mailing list to use Cache::Memcached::libmemcached instead. when small people start casting long shadows, it is time to go to bed	[reply]
